      Job description

      Job responsibilities

      We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house specialist marketing team. This position will be well suited to an individual who has worked in a previous marketing role for at least 3 years, is enthusiastic and has the motivation and desire to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

      Excellent communication skills are a must, working closely with the whole marketing team and other internal departments, you will work together to ensure that the Cygnet brand is adhered and is consistent.

      This position is for someone based in the UK. The role will be remote working, however there will be an expectation for travel throughout the UK for meetings, events and to visit services. This role is part of the Partnership and Engagement Directorate and will report to Cygnets Senior Marketing Manager with a dotted line to the Digital Marketing Manager.

      Responsibilities

      • Support the marketing team to create service collateral, flyers, brochures, case studies, funding packs etc, ensuring that we are capturing up-to-date/relevant information including positive outcomes
      • Work closely with the digital marketing manager to manage and monitor our social media platforms, reviews and websites
      • Supporting the digital marketing manager with analytics and monthly reports
      • Carry out market research and identify relevant industry events and conferences
      • Work closely with other members of the team to plan and organise events and conferences, including attending conferences as an exhibitor
      • Co-ordinating the ordering and delivery of stock for conferences and events, working with other teams to ensure events are delivered to a high standard
      • Proof reading all collateral
      • Liaising with external suppliers for promotional items
      • Ensuring customer contact database is kept up to date
      • Managing a number of email enquiry inboxes, ensuring queries are forwarded to the correct person/department in a timely manner
      • To provide ad hoc administrative support for the marketing team including minute taking

      Key Skills & Experience

      • At least 3 years in a previous marketing role
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Previous Wordpress experience is preferred
      • Experience in event planning
      • Health or social care experience would be advantageous
      • Proof reading skills with a excellent attention to detail
      • Previous experience using Mailchimp
      • Copywriting and basic design skills are essential
      • Holding a professional marketing qualification will be advantageous
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
      • Be able to handle constructive feedback in a positive way
      • Be able to manage own workload effectively, often working on multiple projects at a time
